Details in the Fabric

I found a tooth! I was thinking it might have belonged to a Lemon or Mako shark due to the thinness of it, but those sharks populate areas with warm water…like south america. I found this in Santa Cruz. So maybe it’s a tooth from a baby shark?  It’s not a tiger shark tooth or any other species with serrated teeth because it’s smooth. It also looks new. If it was fossilized, I would have took into consideration that maybe the serrated edges have been smoothed out over time… If only I had better resources to know who this tooth belonged to.
